Yeah, I'm a mushball. But it is one of my favorite things to hear someone's dream and see them laying the cement to get there. Even if you're not all the way there, but you can look behind you and see the sidewalk growing, it's encouraging. Anyway, get inspired from wherever you can. And lay cement.

And Ayun, the link didn't work for me, but you never know, it could work for others. I look forward to metting you someday. Hey, are you going to Book Expo America this year? I probably will if I'm in the States. If not, consider it. It's a blast!

    sure if anyone offers to pay to send me to - is it chicago this year again? oh, you bet I'd go in a hot second. try this for tony millionaire. very worth it (or so I hope, since i shelled out for some of his original art this year.)

    BEA - I'm not sure who would shell out for you to go to BEA but you could talk to your publisher. Mostly, this convention spotlights books that are coming out the upcoming Fall. It is in Chicago in June. But I highly rec it to authors who are trying to figure out the publishing world, those already in it that want to make new contacts, and really anybody who wants to learn about the different facets of publishing. There are lots more people there than publishers, and classes, authors, and speakers of all kinds. And it's fun! I've blogged about it the past few years so you can find more there or I'll do a post later. And thanks for the link, I got your first one to work.
