Perceptive Travel is a new eZine featuring
published travel writers. When Tim first told me he was going to do this, I wasn't surprised. It seems like the most frequent rant I hear from travel writers is that there aren't enough venues for travel lit. Well, now we have another outlet. Here's who you'll be reading in the premier issue:

Now remember, these are all fresh stories. You've probably never read Rolf's
"Tantric Sex for Dilettantes" or Peter Moore's
"Secret Men's Monkey Business." And me? Well I wrote up a little something about gambing,
"The Lure of the Cards." But be forewarned, it's a not a humor piece.
So, how can you participate? Here are the
Writers guidelines. Tim is particularly looking for travel book reviews and if you'd like to get in the next issue, he needs them by Feb. 15.
When can we expect the next issue of Perceptive Travel? March! Here's Tim's preview, "We already have a long list of well-known authors lined up for future issues," Leffel adds, "including Jeff Greenwald, Doug Lansky, and Ayun Halliday. I believe we will continually be able to attract highly-regarded writers looking for a showcase for their best work."
