August Travel Writing and Photography Classes

Want to document your summer vacation? Need to tweak your writing skills? Here are a few travel-related workshops to help. The 4-Week Travel Writer Date/Time: Tuesdays, starting August 8 through August 29, from 7-10 p.m. Location: West Hollywood, California Instructor: Eric Hiss Cost: $375 ($350 for Avant Guild members) Details: Students will learn to turn their love of travel into a full-time career. If you're going to be in town for Book Passage's Travel Writers and Photographers Conference later this month and want to get a learning head start, consider taking Photography chair, Robert Holmes' travel photography class. The field workshop will be held a day before the conference and will feature a trip to Chinatown. If you're attending the conference, there's a $50 discount.
